Colorado Street was closed on Monday, February 26, 2024 and is planned to open in the spring of 2025. Updates to the completion date of this project will be communicated towards the fall/winter of 2024-25. The official detour for this road closure will utilize US-30 to Broadway (SR-53), to 61st Avenue, and vice-versa. 73rd Avenue can also be utilized for more local traffic with access to Broadway (SR-53). These detours were established while coordinating with 2 other projects in the area: Marcella Blvd & 61st Ave Roundabout and Grand Boulevard (SR-51) bridge superstructure replacement.
